Terms of service

Welcome to Novellier.
By shopping with us, you accept the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

1. General.

These terms apply to all purchases made through our online store, operated by Novellier.

2. Orders.

When you place an order with us, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order but does not constitute a binding agreement until we have confirmed the item is available and shipped.

3. Prices and Payment.

Prices are displayed in EUR for all countries except those within Scandinavia.
For customers in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, prices are shown in the local currency (NOK, SEK, DKK).

Shipping costs are fixed and will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.

We accept payments via Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna, and Shop Pay.

4. Taxes and customs.

Novellier is not responsible for any charged duty/import fees.

Please note that local customs duties and import fees may apply depending on your country’s regulations. Contact local customs authorities for further information on customs and import regulation.

5. Shipping and Delivery.

We offer shipping to most countries, with estimated delivery times as follows:

  • 8–15 business days to Scandinavia.
  • 8–25 business days for other international destinations (depending on location)

Please note that delivery times may currently be slightly longer than usual. As a newly established online store, we are still in the process of setting up a long-term logistics agreement with our suppliers. This is a temporary situation, and we are actively working to streamline our delivery processes.

All orders include tracking. You’ll receive a tracking link by email once your order has been dispatched.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this early phase, and we're here to assist you with any questions regarding your order.

6. Returns and Refunds.

We do not offer standard returns unless an item is damaged or defective due to a production error. Therefore we encourage conscious shopping.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we do not operate with a fixed warehouse or hold large volumes of inventory. Because of this, we are not always able to accept returns, as items cannot easily be restocked once shipped.

This approach helps us reduce overproduction, minimize unnecessary transportation, and avoid waste. Allowing large-scale returns would contribute to increased carbon emissions and discarded products — something we actively work to prevent.

If a return is required, we follow the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act. Please note that you are responsible for the return shipping cost, as long as the item is not faulty or incorrect.

In accordance with the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven § 21), private consumers in Norway have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days from the date of delivery. To exercise this right, the product must be returned in substantially the same condition as received. Once we have received and reviewed the return, a full refund will be issued.

In some cases, you may not need to return the item to receive a refund — for instance, if the product is low-value, clearly defective, or returning it is unreasonable. We handle such cases individually.

If you wish to retur or file a complaint, please reach out at:  https://novellier.com/a/service

7. Complaints.

If the item has a defect or fault due to a production error, you have the right to file a complaint in accordance with applicable consumer rights. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving product at contact@novellier.com as soon as possible with clear pictures and description of the issue.

If a production defect occurs, we will send you a replacement item at no extra cost.

8. Privacy.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we process and protect your data.

9. Limitation of Liability.

We are not responsible for indirect losses resulting from delays or defects in delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of income, loss of data, or other consequential damages.

10. Disputes.

Disputes between the parties shall be attempted resolved amicably. If this does not succeed, the case may be brought before the Norwegian Consumer Authority or the ordinary courts of Norway. The legal venue is Bergen District Court. For international purchases, Norwegian law applies to the extent permitted by applicable law.
