At Novellier, our goal is to create clothing that is both beautiful and responsible. We are committed to ensuring that all our products are designed to be recyclable and to fit into a circular value chain. By 2030, our goal is for all our collections to consist of recyclable or sustainable materials.

Concrete Actions We’ve Taken

We have already taken important steps to reduce our environmental footprint. Today, we use recycled materials such as recycled polyester and cotton in selected garments and only use non-hazardous, toxin-free, and biodegradable ink. There's still a long way to go and we`re constantly improving our development of eco-friendly fabrics and to increase the proportion of sustainable textiles in our collections. 

We have also switched to more environmentally friendly packaging made from recyclable materials, and we work closely with manufacturers who share our values regarding energy efficiency and responsible production.

Responsible Suppliers

Novellier collaborates with suppliers who adhere to strict standards for working conditions, ethics, and environmental responsibility. We prioritize working with partners who can document sustainable production processes, including the use of certifications such as GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OEKO-TEX where relevant. This ensures that both people and the environment are safeguarded throughout the entire value chain.

Focus on Circularity

We are committed to giving Novellier’s garments a new life after use. That’s why we design our products with recycling in mind, and we are exploring the possibility of implementing repair and take-back programs to make it easier for our customers to contribute to a circular economy.

Our Sustainability-Focused Return Policy

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we do not operate with a fixed warehouse or hold large volumes of inventory. Because of this, we are not always able to accept returns, as items cannot easily be restocked once shipped.

This approach helps us reduce overproduction, minimize unnecessary transportation, and avoid waste. Allowing large-scale returns would contribute to increased carbon emissions and discarded products — something we actively work to prevent.

How You as a Customer Can Contribute

As a customer, you can also make a difference. By caring for your garments, choosing gentle washing methods, and avoiding unnecessary use of tumble dryers, you can extend the life of your clothes. When garments are no longer needed, we encourage you to donate them to textile recycling or collection programs, so they can get a new life and support a more circular fashion industry.
